SHIPPING & RETURN POLICIES

Shipping Restrictions

Shipping is only available to the United States and Canada. We do not ship to APO/FPO addresses. Furniture is available for delivery ONLY for those local to the Greater Victoria area on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. 

Shipping Costs

Most customers will enjoy free delivery service. Exceptions are listed below:

 

 

CUSTOMS CLEARANCE: I employ many manufacturers across the US and Canada, so wherever possible, your product will ship from the manufacturer closest to your address, to avoid any customs clearance. However, if your product does need to cross the Canada & US border, please be aware that the customer is responsible for paying any fees or rates charged by customs. 

CANADA:

Our free ground service covers all delivery costs associated with your order with the exception of rural delivery surcharges.

UPS (our primary shipping carrier) may charge an additional fee for deliveries to rural areas. These fees are called "Extended Area Delivery Surcharges", these are generally identified by areas with postal codes containing 0's (i.e. K0H 1L0) and are deemed beyond their normal service area. Surcharges vary by destination. These fees must the paid in full prior to production and shipping your order.

Delivery Times

We work with a variety of courier companies to deliver orders across the US and Canada. You will be provided with a tracking ID for each shipment. This will be sent to you by email, the notification includes the date the order was shipped, scheduled delivery time and a real-time tracking link. Most customers will receive their tracking number within 2 business days and their orders within 10-14 business days. Exceptions are outlined below: 

Christmas / Holiday Orders

We receive higher than normal order volumes during this time of the year. While we do our utmost to stay within our average production time frame of 10-14 business days, we may require more time to produce your order(s). We encourage our customers to place your orders as earlier as possible. Christmas Order Cut-off Date: December 10th. 
 

UNITED STATES: 

Orders shipping to Hawaii may take an extra two business days in transit.

Orders shipping to PO boxes, APO/FPO addresses, and the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico may require extra time in transit. Orders shipping to APO/FPO addresses and the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico will ship via USPS.

However, if your product does need to cross the Canada & US border, please be aware that delays may be imposed by your country’s customs clearance.

Missing or Lost Package

A parcel is considered lost after it has been in the postal system for a period of 15 business days for US orders and 21 business days for Canadian orders. We cannot take responsibility for delays caused by the courier. Although orders normally take much less than that we are unable to dispatch a replacement until this period of time has elapsed. 

 

WRONG OR INCOMPLETE ADDRESS: If your package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, you must pay all delivery cost to re-deliver your order to a corrected address. We are not responsible for the loss of your order if the address provided at checkout is incomplete or incorrect.

Return Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase. You may return an item within 15 days of receipt. Please contact me and I will provide you with pre-paid postage to return your item. Transit time back to the warehouse may take up to 14 business days. You will receive an e-mail once your return has been received & processed. Once your return is processed, please allow up to 2 weeks for your refund to appear on your bank account (depending on your financial institution). 

DAMAGED ITEMS: 
Each item is packaged carefully to ensure safety during transit; however, mistakes happen and it is possible that items get damaged en route. Please contact me and I will request photos of the damaged item. You may choose to have the item replaced or refunded. 

FURNITURE: NO returns or refunds for furniture.
